The vision of our ministry The vision for our Children's Ministry is simple: A profound philosophy of ministry underlies that vision: "It's easier to build boys and girls than to repair men and women."
But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom
of heaven." Matthew 19:14 To accomplish that mission we see a three-fold vision - a vision that looks inward, outward and upward: Inward Looking inward is the ability to understand the needs of the kids who attend Cornerstone on a regular
basis. To reach in to those children and bring them to Christ, then to disciple them toward a full and complete life with
Jesus. We believe that nurturing the Christian growth of our saved kids is just as important as the process of bringing them
to Christ in the first place. Outward The outward focus of this ministry is a desire to reach the community at large. We know that there
are many kids who live in the vicinity of Cornerstone, some of which have never even heard the marvelous name of Jesus. It
is our call from God to make His message available to them. Upward The upward direction of the vision is the absolute necessity to build a lifelong relationship between
these children and Jesus Christ; to teach them to love, obey, and spend time with their Creator. |

We cooperate with the Holy Spirit in finding people
within our fellowship who can lead our children into becoming disciples. We do a background screening check of
all those who wish to serve in the Children's Department, to provide the best possible Mentors and also to ensure the
safety of our kids. We like to involve people in ministry, if you are interested in being involved in this area of ministry
